Napoleon? He had his origins in Chiantishire.

Napoleon Buonaparte, the French Emperor, could have his origins in Chiantishire. This theory is supported by Carlo Baldini, the historian of Greve in Chianti, in his volume “The Summaries of parchments of San Michele Arcangelo Abbey in Passignano” edited with Italo Baldini.
Carlo Baldini, as a matter of fact, discovered that on June the 29th, 1276, notary Buonaparte drew up and signed a deed which was stamped in Monte Gonzi. Carlo Baldini explaines this theory in the book which gathers the civil and religious memories from January 1201 till June 1552 and he declares: “This is the first document which mentions about Napoleon’s ancestors, who were notaries and the documents of San Miniato al Monte and Sarzana regarding them, are subsequent to this one.”
Napoleon’s Chianti origins are just in the place where this document came from, Monte Gonzi.
“Monte Gonzi – Baldini continues - is a Castle just upon Greve's village in front of Montefioralle’s one (at that time own by Gherardini Family). Buonaparte's family emigrated from here to San Miniato and Sarzana”.
Then, the history of Buonaparte's family has to be shifted from one place to another and his origins have to be traced back in Chiantishire.
